We’re the Alumni of NEDUET in DFW!

Welcome to the NEDEAN – NED Alumni of Texas website. Our organization is a group of Alumni of NED University of Engineering & Technology (website) in Karachi, Pakistan currently residing in Dallas-Forth Worth metropolitan area in North Texas.

ABOUT US
Our organization was founded on Sunday Jan. 18, 2014 in a general session in Dallas. More than 50 alumni attended that session. After a general discussion on organization’s objectives and bylaws, voting was held to elect a seven-member Board of Directors (BoD), which was tasked to finalize the structure & bylaws of our organization. Board members then worked diligently to review & finalize bylaws with input from our members.

OUR MISSION
Promote the interests & status of NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, as a world class engineering institution, by strengthening the ties and communication among its alumni, current students, faculty (past & present), patrons and friends of NED.

OUR OBJECTIVES
Establish and maintain an open & democratic educational, professional & social forum for NED Alumni, provide support to NEDUET, to support education for the underprivileged, promote community integration in US & awareness amongst alumni to become useful resources for the benefit of community at large.

OUR PURPOSE
We will work to support education for deserving students in NED, provide scholarships, support NED Alumni’s professional development, support endowment funds for developments at NEDUET & support current students & staff of NEDUET.
