Our Board of Directors consists of 7 individuals, who are alumni of NED, elected by the members of our organization (pictured below).

Javaid Iqbal, Chairman
Javaid has a B.E. in Civil Engineering from NED and M.S. in the same discipline from University of Oklahoma. He is currently working as Chief Estimator at MCM in Dallas. [LinkedIn]
Ikhlas Ahmed, Vice Chairman
Ikhlas has a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit. He is currently working as Program Lead at American Airlines in Dallas. [LinkedIn]
Azra Nasir, Secretary
Azra has B.E in Civil Engineering form NED University. Her area of expertise is Geographical Information Systems and Project Engineering.
Hanif Akhawala, Treasurer
Hanif has a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from NED and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington. He is involved in social activities within Pakistani Community in Dallas and works with different social welfare organizations.
Mir Hadi Ali, Director of Social Affairs
Hadi has a B.E. in Civil Engineering from NED and M.S. in Structural Engineering from London University & DIC from Imperial College in London, UK. He is currently serving as the President of his engineering consulting firm in Dallas. [LinkedIn]
Ruby Khan, Director of Public Relationship & Outreach
Ruby has a B.E. in Civil Engineering from NED and M.S. in the same discipline from Bradley University in Illinois. She is currently working as a Sourcing Manager at Lennox International in Dallas. [LinkedIn]
Wajahat Hayat, Director of Professional Development
Wajahat has a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED and M.S. in the same discipline from Wichita State University. He has expertise in Internet Networking technologies and helps customers design & build their networks.
